Activities
Didcot First has several regular activities such as:
- Producing and distributing a monthly listing sheet of all the local, non-commercial events click here to download
NB: In order to include your event in our monthly listing sheet, please send all details of date/time/place, etc. to alison@didcotfirst.org.uk or phone 01235 815856. The deadline dates are shown on the calendar on the 'events page'.
- Giving radio interviews where a positive view of Didcot is sought
- Displaying 'positive message' banners at the Railway station
- Staffing the office space on a Monday morning to ensure public access to the Company is maintained
- Using our window space in the Orchard Office to feature positive activities, highlight special interests and to inform the public
- Maintaining a noticeboard in the Orchard for all community, not-for-profit activities.
We also run some bigger one-off events and these will feature on the Events Page. These have included the Love Clothes Show, the Didcot Volunteer Day, the Street Olympix, Active Didcot and the Science Fair. We also run the annual Business and Community Awards (with the Chamber of Commerce) and a Christmas Shopping passport scheme.
